Vitamin We #15: The Importance of Taking Time Off
We walk our talk, of course!
A Letter from Pol:
Hello everyone!
As we enter August, it marks one and a half years since we embarked on this journey. It all began as a curiosity, experimenting with generative collections and blending the emerging art of Kelly with a technology we knew nothing about.
In March 2022, Women's Entrance was born as something more than just an idea; it was the dream of a young creative couple eager to be part of a change and, even if only in a small way, leave a mark in history. We immersed ourselves in the welcoming culture of Web3 and set a mission: to promote balance, adoption, and empower the feminine voice in Web3.
From this idea, our name and purpose were born. By promoting the inclusion of the feminine voice in Web3 (Women's Entrance), we aimed to create a genuine "We."
We've come a long way since then. While our mission remains unchanged, we've pivoted as much as possible to find what makes you, the We community, feel more heard and represented.
Throughout this year and a half, we've dedicated all our efforts to do our best. It hasn't been easy, and perhaps we haven't achieved all the goals we dreamed of, but it has been completely worth it.
Today, we have a community of over 200 creative souls, with more than 60 stories shared by all of you, over 25 interviews as part of “We Stories”, and 15 editions of the weekly newsletter “Vitamin We”. We've had the pleasure of being part of HedgeHUG and HUG Studios, have met incredible people, made huge connections, and we've witnessed our co-founder collaborate with World of Women, illustrating an NFT live hand-in-hand with Mastercard.
We are an international team, and I'm incredibly proud to say that we represent diversity, something for which I am eternally grateful.
On a personal note, embarking on this adventure has possibly been the best decision of my life. Not only have I learned so much, but I've also grown more as a person in a year than ever before. I believe I've become a better version of myself, and that's all thanks to each one of you who has been there with me every day.
Perhaps you've noticed there have been ups and downs during this time, and that's because there have been. However, what has never wavered is the conviction that what we are working for is worth it and that it fills our hearts. In this bear market, many NFT projects have struggled, some slowing down, and others even folding. I must admit it hasn't been easy. The structures and strategies we initially set forth simply wouldn't work, and it took a titanic effort to change course without losing the essence of what we have created so far. But on the other hand, I am delighted to say that we will keep working, because we no longer consider ourselves just a project; we have, all together, become something greater.
At Women's entrance, we believe we have demonstrated that the feminine voice is here, present in this space, and eager to be heard. Over 60 stories were shared! That's incredible, and I assure you that I have read every single one of them, and each has touched me deeply. We have also learned that our mission goes beyond blockchain technology; it appeals to something deeper within our souls. That's why we believe we have now reached a point where, as a community, we can truly consider ourselves a "We," just as we had envisioned.
With all this in mind, as a team, we believe it's time to wrap up what we could call Season 1. This August, we will take a well-deserved time off, including our social media, Twitter spaces, Newsletter and Discord, and we recommend you do the same. We'll be back in September, and we’ll have some renovations with how we do things at We — crafting our path to offer you the best experience and make you proud to be part of this community.
Thank you so much for this year and a half together. See you in a month!

Heaven is not a place, and it is not a time.
You’ll begin to touch heaven in the moment that you touch perfect speed. And that isn’t flying a thousand miles an hour, or a million, or flying at the speed of light.
Because any number is a limit, and perfection doesn’t have limits.
Perfect speed, is being there.
See you again in September!!!
Until then, take good care of yourself!
